Lost Activation E-mail
If you can't find your activation e-mail you can just go to the main login page.
Underneath the area where you normally enter your username and password you will
see a link 'Forgot password/Lost Activation'. Click on it and we will send you what
you need.

Security Tips
The first thing everyone needs to know is that Fancy an Argument is NOT for people
under the age of 13.
Protect Your Identity!
Personal information like your telephone number or home address should NEVER be
shared with other users.
Remember, Fancy an Argument employees will never ask you for your password, email
address, or other account information. Don't be fooled if someone contacts you pretending
to be from Fancy an Argument!
Keep Your Cool, Keep Safe Whether it's a flame war, cyberbullying, or people being
just plain mean, comments can get pretty rough sometimes.
Creating an Argument
When you create and argument try and make a statement rather than asking a question - this way members can either be for or against
the argument. For example "Global warming does not exist"
You can either create an Argument to start immediately or you can set a start date
and time in the future.
You can either select exiting members to join your Argument in which case your Argument
will appear in their Reminders. If you enter non-members email addresses they
will receive an e-mail which will invite them to sign up to Fancy an Argument and
participate in your Argument.
When Does an Argument Start
An Argument starts when two members have opened the Argument Chat window and picked opposing sides. Within a few seconds
you will then notice a timer counting down to the end of the Argument at the top of the chat
window.
How Can I Be For or Against the Argument
Within the Argument chap window you will notice a For and Against list in the right
hand column. Click on the appropriate button to join either side.
I Have Noticed An Argument Which I Want To Participate in but it has not started
yet
Within the list of Arguments click on the Participate button and you will notice the
Argument appears in your Reminders. This allows you to keep an eye on this Argument.
What are Watches?
Fancy an Argument allows you to place Watches which will trigger an email to you
when a specific event happens. This might be

A Member logs in
An Argument starts which contains a specific keyword
How can I Critique an Argument
Once an Argument has finished you can add your own Critique. Additionally you can
award a star rating to a member who has excelled in the Argument. You can only add
a star rating once for each Argument. All the star ratings are displayed in
the right hand corner of the Members desktop.
