Ironside: It must have been tempting to boost public moral from the horrors of the vietham war to stage a moon landing in 1969.
Ruppert: Don't be daft - I'm surprised for that, it's a well know conspiracy theory that's been blown out of the water a long time ago. They even brought back moon rock so it's quite conclusive that they did go to the moon!
Hama3000: dont believe a word. My washing machine has more processing power. there is no way they went to the moon. it was all staged
apples: lol - why do you think that then? and why do you think any computer power was necessary?
Ironside: how do you think they got to the moon and back, with just steam power!
apples: No, rocket power, back to basics with fire! The computers just provided navigation aid - pretty easy to do even with the basic computer power available at the time
Hama3000: basic navigation! you are in capsule the size of a public toilet, going at 25k per hour aiming for the moons gravity field with the navigation system power of a z*****si washing machine. eh no thanks!
apples: I'd be up in a shot if they asked me (note to NASA, if you're a man down for the next moon or mars missions - count me in)
