Hama3000: i agree, you can commit any crime you like in this country and you can get off with just a clip across the ear if you have a crafty lawyer
Elsen: at one point the time span for murder would be in years, if you kill someone now the sentence is a year or less.
Hama3000: the punishment must fit the crime. law abiding citizens want to see the full arm of the law being flexed on offenders. i say life in prison means LIFE in PRISONpizzaman: I agre with this, I guess, but I'm still not sure about prison working at all in this country - putting a load of criminals together in a big house surely can't work. I wonder if there's a linkedin or facebook equivalent for ex-cons?

MaryHinge: trouble is it costs a fortune to house each prisioner. why not building roads or bridges. in other words pay society back
